TEXACO HELPS FUEL DAYS OUT FOR POOLE ADULTS
Users of the Sea View Centre in Poole are set to enjoy more days out after Texaco donated the fuel for their people carrier. The Sea View Centre provides support and day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. Excursions to local sites of interest are one of the keys ways that the centre helps improve the education and understanding of the people using the centre. The people carrier also enables them to make the best use of the community services available.
Commenting on the donation, Caroline Telford, Facilities Manager at the Sea View Centre, Borough of Poole said: “The sponsorship from Texaco ensures that the main expense in running the people carrier is covered and means that the users who attend Sea View have access to projects and places of interest within the community on a regular basis.”
Nick Holmshaw, Texaco Area Manager said: “It gives both Texaco and myself great pleasure to be involved in a sponsorship project like this. With 28 Texaco-branded service stations in Dorset, this is a key area for us and we believe strongly in helping the communities where we operate. In particular, I want to thank the staff at the Texaco’s Lansdowne service station on Holdenhurst Road for their support”
